Wyndi Bradley Head of Schools, M. Ed.

I started my career with King’s Gate in 1996 as the Director of the part time programs and I became the head administrator in 2003. I received my undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Central Oklahoma where I also completed my master’s degree in Education. I married the love of my life, Bryan in 1986 and we celebrated thirty two years this year! We have one daughter and we enjoy spending time with her and her husband.

I have admired King’s Gate for the way the staff loves and respects children since our daughter attended here as a preschooler.  It is humbling to be part of something so special, to be counted among such a gifted and loving staff and to see our GOD work in the lives of so many every single day. I am convinced, more than ever, that King’s Gate is an exceptional place where staff and families work together to prepare and empower students for their individual purpose. Thank you for sharing your family with us!

Ed Thomas Upper School Advancement Partner

I first became acquainted with King’s Gate Christian School by working with the Head of Schools, Wyndi Bradley, on the ACSI Accreditation Commission. Through that working relationship, I saw and experienced the heart of King’s Gate. Through the opportunity to work with some of the staff, board and parents at the school, that heart and passion for the mission of King’s Gate, Kingdom Education and the love of each student became even more evident.  I am very excited, humbled and honored to be a part of the King’s Gate family and to experience GOD’s work in the minds and hearts of the students. I have been blessed to be married for 42 years to my wonderful wife Dana. We have two daughters and six grandchildren that are such a blessing that it is difficult to describe. GOD has allowed me the opportunity to serve in many roles in education from teacher, coach, athletic director, elementary principal, secondary principal, superintendent, head of school and consultant to Christian Schools.  I thank GOD for allowing me to experience Kingdom Education and am prayerful that the experiences He has given me can and will impact the students, staff and families of King’s Gate Christian School.  There is no doubt that King’s Gate has already had a major impact on my life.

Nicole Payne Director of Development and Advancement

Prior to joining the King’s Gate family in August 2018, GOD introduced me to the school while I was living in Claremore, OK and visiting the area to help Crosswalk Community Church clear out the area that would become the outdoor classroom. I left that day never anticipating that GOD would call me to move here a year later (almost to the day), but I do remember thinking about how much I would love to be a part of a place as special as King’s Gate! So, here I am ready to help grow the school and share my passion for partnering with families to make Jesus known in how we teach our children.

I am a serial coffee drinker who married Matt, the guy who won me over while we were still in high school. For most of our married life we have been involved in some form of pastoral ministry. We have four children together that bless our lives with joy, laughter, and even a few gray hairs! I am excited for the future of King’s Gate and can’t wait to get to know and serve all of you as we work together to advance the vision of this amazing school!

Stormi Risner Assistant to the Head of Schools

My name is Stormi Risner.  My husband, Cody, and I have two children and we live in Deer Creek. We love being outdoor and exploring the beauty and wonder of GOD’s creation.  My family has had the privilege of being connected to King’s Gate for several years.  Our children have attended CDC, preschool, and are beginning elementary school here.  The heart and culture of this school is truly unique and something we feel blessed and very thankful to be a part of.  The development of our children’s hearts, minds and spirits are stewarded well here by the amazing teachers and staff.

I received an AAS in Biology from Rose State College and a BS in Organizational Leadership from SNU. Prior to having children, I worked in the mortgage banking industry and then for the federal government. When my husband and I started our family, we felt a calling for me to be home with the children.  I worked as a stay-at-home mom for nearly seven years.  A year before beginning at King’s Gate, the LORD began preparing my heart to return to work.  I served as part of the children’s ministry at Our Lord’s Community Church until the LORD presented the opportunity for me to come to King’s Gate and serve as Mrs. Wyndi’s assistant.  I am excited to be involved in what the LORD is doing in this school and in our community through the enrichment of His children.

Cassie Kuykendall Administrative Assistant

I joined the King’s Gate staff in 2017. I have been married to my wonderful husband Kile since 2009 and the Lord blessed us with our sweet girl Kaylee in 2013. We have a 6-pound yorkie named Sushi. She has been blind for most of her life but loves playing fetch. We love going to the zoo, the science museum and exploring nature at all the various parks around the metro. I love all things gardening and recently discovered running. So far, I’ve run 1 half marathon and hope to add more in the near future.

We moved from Moore to Yukon in 2016 to be closer to better schools and out of tornado alley!  Once we settled in we enrolled Kaylee in King’s Gate Preschool at Surrey Hills Baptist Church. We fell in love with the teachers and staff and Kaylee thrived. When it came time to register her for Pre-Kindergarten she moved to the Hefner Pointe location and I joined the office staff shortly after.

As a parent turned staff member it has been amazing to get the know the parents and staff better. It is apparent God is hard at work here with our children. I especially enjoy working at both locations, so I get to know each of the students. The King’s Gate community is one big family and I feel blessed to be part of it.

Kayly Rollins Speech Language Pathologist and Student Support Coordinator

I first learned of King’s Gate about 18 years ago, when I was a graduate student.  At that time I was completing a clinical practicum experience in the HELP program (now called Hearts for Hearing).  I remember thinking “If I ever have children, I want them to go to a school like King’s Gate.”  Fourteen years later, both my children attend school at King’s Gate and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist for the school!

On the way to becoming a Speech Language Pathologist, I earned a B.S from Oklahoma State University and a M.S. from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  From 1999 to 2006, I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at OUHCS, where I had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including specialized programs for toddlers and preschoolers with developmental disabilities.  I have been married to my husband Steve for 17 years, and we have two sons, Layne and Evan.  Six years ago, I became the Speech Language Pathologist for the school.  It has been a wonderful experience to be able to do my job in a place that radiates such a positive, loving atmosphere.  As a parent, I feel so blessed that my children are able to learn and grow here.  There really is no other school like King’s Gate, and I am so excited to be a part of it!

I married my college sweetheart and we have three kids who all attended King’s Gate and one from Columbia who joined our family as a high school graduate. I serve as the campus counselor at Willow Springs Boys Ranch in Chandler and I enjoy speaking, teaching and writing. I also serve as the Children’s Pastor for Our Lord’s Community Church. I am a sometimes silly, broken and alive follower of Jesus. I began serving on the King’s Gate campus in 1996 and love seeing our King’s Gate kids enjoy life, build friendships and come to know Jesus. My biggest hope is for Rich and me, our kids, King’s Gate kids, and the world around us to experience the love of Jesus in personal, profound, life changing, and faith-building ways. Laurie Gillum Science Teacher

I have been at King’s Gate as a mom for 7 years and as a science teacher since 2001. I received my undergraduate degree at Lewis and Clark College in biology. For the next 6 years I worked as a wildlife biologist in the rainforests of Hawaii and the oceans of Alaska and Canada. I got my graduate degree from UMASS-Amherst where I did research on the Piping Plover along the barrier beach systems of Cape Cod, MA. For the next 6 years, I worked as the endangered species biologist for the state of Maryland and taught conservation biology at John Hopkins University. I married my best pal in college, Tim, and we have 3 children; Trevor, Haley, and Jack. King’s Gate truly has impacted our family deeply. It was only through King’s Gate leadership and staff that Tim and I were able to find and stay on the right track for Haley who has special learning differences. GOD truly brought the opportunity to me for teaching science here at King’s Gate. I am finally able to teach science from a creation perspective and highlight so many of the truly amazing things in our world, giving GOD all the glory. I never imagined the depth of understanding that these kids would gain. I have been so blessed by passing these biblical messages on through GOD’s creation.

Brandy Glover Fourth Grade Teacher

Hello! I am Brandy Glover and I am so excited to start a new teaching journey at King’s Gate! I graduated from UCO in 1993. I started teaching full time for Moore Public Schools in 1994. I taught Kindergarten for 3 years and then moved into second grade until 2010. After many years in the classroom, I decided to take on the new challenge of obtaining my master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2010. From there I had the honor to serve as an assistant principal and as an Early Childhood Coordinator for the district.

As a Christian in public school, I always missed being able to talk about GOD and my Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ. I remember during my first year of teaching, one of my littles asked me, “Mrs. Glover, how come you never talk about Jesus at school?” When I told him that I could not according to school rules, he said something that I have never forgotten, “But why? It’s the most important thing!” He was right…it is the most important thing! So, I am privileged to be able to use my teaching gift to also teach about the Most Important Thing…Our Most High GOD, His Son, and the Holy Spirit!

I have been married to my husband Bill for 30 years. We were not blessed with children but we do have 2 dogs who are pretty special…Baby Bear and Millicent! I’m looking forward to working at King’s Gate and getting to know you all.

Sarah Schiete First Grade Teacher

What a joy and privilege it is to be serving at King’s Gate this year! I was born and raised in Oklahoma and have lived in Guthrie, OK serving as a mentor and inductive Bible study teacher to young women for the past year. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013. I have been working with children for nearly ten years and one of my favorite things is to see them get excited about who GOD is! As a teacher, I love coming alongside children to inspire them to be all that GOD wants them to be and foster a learning environment where confidence, kindness, and endurance are priorities.

Some of my favorite things include playing piano for our church, singing, drinking coffee, trying new foods, and climbing trees. I’ve had the privilege of going overseas several times, most life-changing being serving as a missionary to Sierra Leone during the Ebola outbreak. The LORD is so good to increase my faith in Him through every season! I’m looking forward to this year at King’s Gate!

Teaching children has been a great part of my life for the past 34 years.  I was excited when Wyndi, Head of School, asked me to be a part of King’s Gate Christian School. The Lord opened this new door for me, and it is truly a blessing to be able to work alongside such devoted Christian women. I have been married to my best friend and the love of my life for nearly 36 years.  We met at Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas.  I continued my education at Central State University (University of Central Oklahoma) and completed my education degree with two additional certifications.  We have one son who serves in the Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base, and his wife also serves in the Air National Guard.  Together they have blessed us with five terrific grandchildren. Christ has always been our family’s foundation and we continually seek his will and purpose for our lives.
Every day is a blessing, and it is very rewarding to be able to love these little ones and share the love of Christ with them.  May our Lord richly bless them and their families.
